If it wasn’t for my dads’ love for woodworking. I probably wouldn’t be in the business.
 

My dad and I have been building things out of wood since I could hold a hammer.

In 1987 I walked into a shutter shop in Escondido, CA and fell in love with the smell of wood and the sounds of saws. Seeing the final product gave me huge satisfaction. When I became an installer, it was even better. Going into homes and seeing the transformation and the customers reaction were all I needed,  .PRICELESS.

I was invited by Madden Enterprise "Hunter Douglas” to help launch the first PVC shutter. In 1990 I measured, designed, manufactured and installed the first PVC shutter in North America

In 1998 I moved to Denver CO. and started manufacturing shutters myself. “out of wood”. I met my wife there and then eventually moved to Phoenix, AZ. In 2009. I have been selling and installing ever since.

The confidence that I’ve gained through all stages of building shutters allows me to be more detailed in my selling ability. Nobody likes surprises.

Insisting on quality, customer service, promptness and integrity are just as important to me as they are to every customer.
